Dixon Ticonderoga shares rose as much as 17 percent. WYLE LABORATORIES INC., El Segundo, Calif., provider of testing, research and engineering services, will buy the aeronautics services business of General Dynamics Corp., Lexington Park, Md., enabling Wyle to pursue additional Defense Department contracts.
