The latest period included $223.9 million in reorganization charges and a $19 million gain from discontinued operations. Carol Martin, a news anchor at WCBS-TV in New York, was married on Thursday to Joe Terry, a television director for "The Maury Povich Show" in New York. Ms. Martin, who is keeping her name, graduated from Wayne State University. She is a daughter of Idessa Martin of Charlotte, N.C., and the late Daniel Martin. Her father was an auto worker for the General Motors Corporation in Detroit.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Klein of Miami have announced the engagement of their daughter Debra Anne Klein to Bradley Michael Cohen, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cohen of Highland Park, Ill. Ms. Klein, 27, is a freelance television news writer in San Francisco. She graduated from Brown University. Her father is the provost of the New World School of the Arts, an arts conservatory in Miami. Her mother, Rhoda A. Klein, is the president of Guidance and Consulting Services of Miami.
