Stephanie Cheng (born 10 October 1984) is a Hong Kong cantopop singer. She debuted under Go East Entertainment with the song "Grown Up" in 2003 and has since released more than six albums and EPs. She is best known for her song "Traffic Light" 紅綠燈 released in 2006; the song topped all four major radio stations in Hong Kong and garnered many year-end chart awards.

John Mattke, an unseeded American ranked only 225th in the world, upset top- seeded Andres Gomez of Ecuador today, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6, in the second round of the Japan Open tennis tournament. Gomez is the world's fifth-ranked player. Mattke, a Minnesotan, has won one tournament, a satellite event, since turning professional last winter.

When Governor Kean called Gary Saul Stein early Monday to offer him a seat on the New Jersey Supreme Court, the 51- year-old lawyer marked the occasion later by going out and playing two sets of tennis.
