In the Seventh District, the Whig Convention must at Lawrence on Wednesday, and nominated Rev. LYMAN WHITING, of Reading, as their candidate for Congress. In the Eighth District, the Whig Convention met at Concord, and unanimously nominated TAPPAN WENTWORTH for reelection to Congress.

I have to tell you something about SPAIN. There are strange things going on in that country. ISABELLA is crying, and wishes to abdicate in favor of her daughter. She communicated the letter of her mother to the Ministers, and made quite a scone, so as to mislead ESPARTERO, who was beginning to doubt his own opinion about the popular attachment for the throne.
